A snowy day in Tysfjord but the Eagles are friendly once again and we have eagles fighting over the herring. We head to skarberget and then out towards the Vestfjord but near the island of Bekkenesholmen we spot a fin of an adult male orca!! He appears to be alone. We follow him for 45 minutes then meet another 4 orcas. A female with a very young calf and 2 other orcas. They are a little protective of the calf so no snorkelling today. We watch them for another 45 minutes before losing them in the approaching bad weather. A great day watching the orcas in Tysfjord!:-
